When the Capture Station finishes a session, the note appears here automatically with the right review action.

1. Start the session + name the athlete

"Start session for Justin McIllwain."

"Let's get started with Caralee Schipper."

"Next athlete: full roster name."

The start phrase tells ATDoc this is real documentation. Say the athlete's full roster name right after it. Add the sport only when two athletes could share the same name or the athlete plays multiple sports.

2. Talk through the visit

No fixed order and no keywords to remember — just narrate the visit out loud. The one habit worth keeping: name the side every time (left ankle, right knee, left shoulder).

3. Say out loud anything you want saved

Cleared, limited, or out — plus the exact restrictions.

Reassess Friday, check back in three days — whatever the plan is.

Coach report
What the coach actually needs to know: limited, not out.

Exercise plan
The exact dose: 3 sets of 12, hold 30 seconds, each side.

Doctor
Refer and say why, or say there's no referral.

ATDoc only fills in what you actually say. Mention the follow-up, the coach note, the exercise dose, or the referral and they come back ready to send — leave them out and nothing is invented.

4. Close the session

End phrase
Say "end session", "session complete", or "that's all for Justin."

Next athlete
Start the next note with "next athlete" or another start phrase plus their full name.

Misspoke?
Correct yourself out loud: "actually, left ankle." The latest version wins.

Privacy
Avoid saying another athlete's medical details while this session is open.

The close phrase tells ATDoc to process the note. If you forget it, the Capture Station will still protect the session, but closing out loud makes the result faster and cleaner.

Full example

"Start session for Justin McIllwain."

Left ankle pain after landing on another player's foot in practice. Pain is 5 out of 10 with cutting, 2 out of 10 standing. No numbness or tingling.

Mild lateral swelling. ATFL tender. Squeeze test negative. Talar tilt mildly painful. Gave compression, ice, ankle mobility, and balance work.

Exercise plan: ankle pumps 3 sets of 20, calf stretch 3 times holding 30 seconds, single-leg balance 3 rounds of 30 seconds.

Actually, left ankle, not right. Status is limited: no cutting and no live scrimmage today. Follow up Friday. Send the coach a report. No doctor referral right now. End session.
